Alternative Dispute Resolution Experience


Overview

Ed has been an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association for over thirty-five years. He serves on AAA’s Large Complex Case, Construction, Energy, and Commercial panels. And he has acted as Panel Chair, Panelist or Sole Arbitrator in numerous cases through hearing and final award, including large multi-party disputes, some with damage claims in nine figures. He also serves on the panels of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the California Public Works Arbitration panel.

Ed is honored to be a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a  Charter Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America. He is active in the American Bar Association and is a member of the Governing Council of the ABA Dispute Resolution Section and was Co-Chair of its Arbitration Committee. And he often speaks and publishes articles on arbitration law and practice for the ABA and the AAA.
